Story pendant, Hare leaping over Chanctonbury
Story pendants are a group of pendants which depict images, or mini dioramas which tell a story. The story might be obvious, but could also be only know to the wearer of the piece. I often use local historical land marks in these pieces. This one depicts Chanctonbury Ring with a hare leaping over, which is near Steyning, in West Sussex. The pendant measures 25 mm and is presented on an 18" sterling silver trace chain.
